Bhutan has diverse climatic conditions. Southern Bhutan is hot and humid in summer and cool in winter. Temperatures can vary between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius.
Bhutan's generally dry spring season starts in early March and lasts until mid-April. Summer starts in mid-April with occasional showers and continues to late June. The monsoon rains last from late June through late September.
Autumn season, between late September and early November, follows the rainy season. It is characterized by sunny weather and some early snowfalls at higher elevations.
From late November until March, it’s winter, with frost throughout much of the country and snowfall common above elevations of 3,000 metres.

It should be noted that average temperatures are recorded from valley floors and there can be divergences from the recorded figures depending upon elevation.
